She went to Allama Iqbal Medical College for her M.B.B.S. She has worked in various institutions, such as Agha Khan University Hospital Karachi (pediatrics Unit), Services Hospital and Children Hospital Lahore, Pediatric Gastroenterology Unit at Southampton General Hospital NHS and at Salisbury District Hospital UK; as part of her training for MRCPCH.
