Introduction

In the space of just a few weeks, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we interact with each other. We are all adjusting to a new reality of working and studying from home and communicating virtually rather than face to face. Like many other businesses, The British School of Etqiuette has had to change the way it operates to comply with the rules of social distancing.

Rest assured that we remain open and able organise one-to-one etiquette classes via Skype or Zoom with the School’s Principal, Philip Sykes. These sessions are usually one and a half hours long and take place from the comfort of your own home at a time that is suitable for you.

We also run shorter sessions aimed at children or teenagers. The content is tailored to the student’s needs and requirements and we can cover topics such as Social skills and confidence; Table manners; Posture and personal presentation; Sports and games etiquette; Netiquette; Interview Skills; and Personal Branding.

On completion of the coaching/training you will receive an internationally recognised certificate from The British School of Etiquette and (if applicable) a CPD certificate. Some of our courses are also accredited by ILM (part of the City & Guilds Group), the leading provider of leadership, coaching and management qualifications and training. If you would like to claim an ILM certificate, please let us know as  there will be an extra charge. To find out more about the benefits of undertaking an ILM qualification, click here.

“Etiquette is all human social behaviour. If you’re a hermit on a mountain, you don’t have to worry about etiquette; if somebody comes up the mountain, then you’ve got a problem. It matters because we want to live in reasonably harmonious communities”
